learn more Have you ever wondered about children with Asperger's syndrome? Who are they, where do they come from, and how do they differ from what we might consider "normal" children?
It is widely recognized that some of the most exceptional minds in our history are believed to have had experiences with that type of autism spectrum disorder. Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, George Orwell, H. G. Wells, Beethoven, Mozart, Hans Christian Andersen, Immanuel Kant, and even Elon Musk are thought to have had the Asperger.
In the pages of this book, however, my aim is not to provide a guide on how to become a genius. Instead, I aspire to convey my reflections on the Asperger's in a creative and imaginative manner. I aim to provide you with an opportunity to step into the shoes of a child with Asperger.
The "aspergers" tend to immerse themselves in their own imaginative worlds, where their thoughts may seem clouded to others. For those with exceptional abilities and unique qualities, life can often be burdensome. These individuals, who can be metaphorically described as being "winged" from birth, frequently find themselves on the outskirts of a society that tends to value conformity. Sometimes, even their own parents struggle to fully embrace their distinctiveness, unintentionally hindering the early sparks of their potential and dampening the metaphorical "wings" of their talents.
But fear not, as the story takes a positive turn when a ladybug, symbolizing Asperger's syndrome, takes flight. This signifies that our main character is beginning to overcome his challenges and finds his way in the world.
